TV networks announced a slew of college football TV assignments and kickoff times Thursday for the 2018 season, including several games for Utah schools.

One of the games now set is Weber State’s season opener at Utah on Thursday, Aug. 30. That game is set for 6 p.m. and will air on Pac-12 Network.

The traditional conference weekend matchup between BYU and Utah State — set for Friday, Oct. 5, in Provo — is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN2.

The big rivalry game — BYU at Utah, temporarily back at the end of the season on Nov. 24 — does not yet have a TV assignment or kickoff time.

TV assignments and kickoff times are determined by what network owns the TV rights for the home team. Utah games, for example, are dictated by the Pac-12’s TV contracts with ESPN and FOX. BYU has its own contract with ESPN.

Here’s a look at what games were announced for each team. Kickoff times are listed in Mountain time.
